SHINee Members Think Onew Looks Like “Superman Returns” Triplet Min Gook
On May 17, the members of SHINee opened up a press conference for their solo concert “SHINee World IV in Seoul,” ahead of their upcoming comeback with their fourth full-length album titled “Odd.”
During the press conference, the members were asked to describe one another’s special characteristics. About Onew, the members explained, “[Onew] is very versatile. He’s quite unique. There are a lot of times when he is calm on the outside, but it would be great if he could appear on a program where he can show his natural side. Onew has the funniest character in the world that is unique to him. We think that if his charms could be expressed fully, a lot more people would love him.”
Member Minho continued, “The triplets of the child-rearing program [‘Superman Returns’] are very popular these days. Among the triplets, [Onew] looks a lot like Min Gook. So we always call him ‘Min Gook-Onew.’ Onew hyung was born first so Min Gook should actually look like Onew hyung, but it’s the opposite. [Onew] is looking more and more like Min Gook.”
Minho also added, “I hope Onew hyung can show his charms more and more like Min Gook through our upcoming promotions,” causing Onew to laugh.
Meanwhile, SHINee will be performing brand new songs for the first time from their upcoming album during their comeback concert.

Chu Sarang and Yuto Get Competitive on “Superman Returns”
Chu Sarang and Yuto of “Superman Returns” may be the best of friends, but that doesn’t mean everything’s always rosy between them – especially when something brings out their competitive streaks!
A year ago on the show, Chu Sung Hoon took Chu Sarang to his friend’s gymnastics club so that she could take a class there. However, she wasn’t comfortable around all the strangers, so both the guys agreed that she should come back in about a year and try again.
It seems that Chu Sung Hoon is keeping his promise, as this week on “Superman Returns” he takes Chu Sarang back to the gymnastics club, this time with her best friend Yuto!
However, the two of them become so competitive with each other that they both end up in tears.
According to reports, the first time they race each other along the trampoline, Yuto wins and Chu Sarang collapses on the trampoline, wailing as Yuto does a little victory dance – which of course just makes Chu Sarang even more upset.
It’s said that afterwards, the two go back and forth between laughter and tears as they keep racing each other. We’ll have to wait until Sunday’s episode to see if the two still leave the club as friends despite their competitiveness! But if what’s happened in the past is any indication, they’ll be happily doing their shuffle dance together in no time.

“Superman Returns” Twins Are Youngest Ever to Throw First Pitch at a Pro Baseball Game
It looks like Lee Seo Eon and Lee Seo Joon are on the fast track to fulfilling their father Lee Hwi Jae’s dreams for them to become pro athletes!
The “Superman Returns” twins recently became the youngest ever to participate in a ceremonial first pitch at a pro baseball game. Pictures and videos of their adorable pitch before the Doosan Bears vs. Nexen Heroesmatch on April 23 attracted a lot of attention online, and “Superman Returns” viewers can now look forward to seeing the full behind story on the upcoming May 17 broadcast of the show.

Song Triplets Transform into Traditional Scholars on “Superman Returns”
The adorable Song triplets of “Superman Returns” will be turning into traditional scholars on the next episode.
On May 14, the production team of KBS’ variety program “Superman Returns” unveiled a preview clip of the triplets from the upcoming May 17 broadcast of the show through its official SNS.
In the video, Dae Han, Min Gook, and Man Se can be seen dressed from head to toe in a matching yellow traditional Hanbok overcoat, as well as a traditional hat made of bamboo and horsehair, looking very much like scholars.
It is said that dad Song Il Gook then took the kids to a place very fitting for their transformation—the palace!
This episode of “Superman Returns” is scheduled to air on May 17 at 4:50 p.m. (KST).
Playful Images Show Song Triplets Playing Under the Sun
Behind the scenes shots of Song Il Gook’s triplets thoroughly enjoying a clear summer day have been released.
Chosen as models for a children’s outdoor brand, Dae Han, Min Gook, andMan Sae are featured in the “Natural Play” themed shots. The released photos show the three siblings playing outdoors on a fresh summer day, paying little attention to the camera.
Delighting audiences everywhere with their continued growth, the Song triplets naturally brought the shoot to life with their laughter as they caught bugs, played water games, and ran around on the jungle gym without any guidance from the adults. The playful images, including Min Gook as he chases after Man Sae with a humorous grin and the three brothers huddled together while eating watermelon, effortlessly grab the viewer’s attention.
Meanwhile, fans can keep up with the ever-growing Song triplets on KBS2’s “Superman Returns.”
Song Il Gook Reveals How He Felt Upon Learning That He Had Triplets
Song Il Gook revealed how he felt when he found out that his wife was pregnant with triplets.
On the May 10 episode of KBS2‘s “Superman Returns,” Uhm Tae Woongasks Song Il Gook, “How did you feel when the ultrasound showed that you had triplets?”
Song Il Gook replies, “I did expect it to a certain extent. The hormone levels were so high that I thought it might be twins but there was another dot. My wife and I couldn’t talk for 10 minutes.”
He then adds that he himself still finds it astounding, saying, “They said it was triplets and I didn’t know whether to be happy or not. I’m seeing the kids now with my very own eyes, and even now there are a lot of times I still can’t believe.”
“Superman Returns” Twins Have a Cute and Comical Stretching Session
The upcoming episode of KBS 2TV’s “Superman Returns” 77th episode features the third story of the Jeju Island trip that all four families participated in.
The Lee Twins are reunited with Huh Soo Kyung‘s family after last meeting them in April of 2014. Seo Eon and Seo Joon displayed a great amount of affection for Huh Soo Kyung’s daughter Byul. After seeing Byul do the splits, the twins copy her moves and surprise their father Lee Hwi Jae.
In particular, Seo Eon demonstrates confidence and stretches adorably while sticking out his tummy. The boys put their own spin on every stretch Byul does in a cute and comical fashion. Seo Jun displays flexibility when he is sticks his arms and legs out and stretches Superman style.
Meanwhile, this episode will air on May 10 at 4:50 p.m. KST.

Dae Han Climbs Steep Volcano All by Himself on “Superman Returns”
On the upcoming episode of “Superman Returns,” the oldest out of the triplets,Dae Han, climbs to the top of Yongnuni Oreum, a parasitic volcano in Jeju Island, all by himself.
In the beginning, Uhm Tae Woong, Uhm Ji On, Song Il Gook, and the tripletsDae Han, Min Gook, and Man Se start climbing this volcano together. But when the wind becomes stronger and stronger, they start falling behind one by one and worry if they’ll be able to reach the top.
To everyone’s surprise, the one person who keeps climbing despite the fierce wind is Dae Han. As soon as he arrives at Yongnuni Oreum, he says, “Dae Han wants to climb far~”
He doesn’t even show that he’s tired as he keeps marching up the steep hills. “I think Dae Han is all grown up,” says Song Il Gook proudly.
When Dae Han finally reaches the top, he stands in front of a signpost and leisurely looks at the scenery below him. He even takes out his camera and takes a souvenir picture. Song Il Gook arrives later than him and takes a cute picture of his proud little Dae Han.
“Superman Returns” Kids Have a Blast in a Late-Night Race
On the upcoming episode of “Superman Returns,” Chu Sarang is seen covered in sweat being absorbed in a fun race session in the middle of the night.
The four families of the show are still vacationing in Jeju Island, but the children show that they can have fun just inside the house regardless of where they might be.
Under the instruction of Chu Sung Hoon, the seven children are full of excitement as they run around a center table in the living room. Chu Sarang takes the lead and guides the younger ones following her.
Seo Eon exclaims, “Woah, woah,” as he runs, and Seo Joon trickles behind Sarang, Dae Han, Min Gook, and Manse with his adorable little legs. The triplets show off their quick speed as they ecstatically chase after each other around the living room.
Chu Sung Hoon watches with a satisfied look on his face and encourages the children by saying, “Good job~ good job~ Oh wow, you guys will be able to sleep well~” and reveals his real reason behind letting the children have this little craze.
Will the children be able to sleep well like the fathers hope?
